Halloween

I found this cute tiger outfit for Witt for Halloween. Even though we did not take him out for Halloween I bought it anyway. He wears it for PJ's now. Since Witt was a tiger Ridge also wanted to be a tiger to for Halloween just like his little brother. We got to go to one family activity before John left. We went to our ward trunk or treat. Ridge had a lot of with Daddy. They went around with all the activities while I sat and passed out candy. Witt stayed home with a babysitter.

First Day Home (Oct. 14, 2012)

First day home. My family helped me out that night and so did my neighbors and ward members. We are so blessed to have wonderful people in our life. Our ward gave me a surprise baby shower and gave  us meals every night that John was here. They have also helped us in any way they could. It has been a blessing. My family has also helped me with the baby at night and taking care of Ridge for me. I am so grateful for them.

Night before the delivery

The Andersen's came over to baby sit Ridge while Jorgi and I went to the hospital the next morning. They gave him a bath, got up the next morning fed him breakfast, gave him his medicine and got him ready for school. Then they waited for the school bus together. They had a blast getting him ready for school and Ridge had blast for his cousins to come over and spend the night with him. The Andersen's were on fall break so they didn't have school.

Ridge put his pillow under his shirt and said "look I'm like Mommy." He was being so funny that night.

Ward Campout

Two weeks before I was ready to deliver, Ridge and I went to our ward camp out. It was so much fun. This was the first time Ridge ever went camping. We played outside all day long and had a camp fire with smores.

Phoenix Zoo with the Winders

We all went to the Phoenix Zoo and had some fun looking at animals and playing at the water park there. It has been a long time for all of us to be together at the same time. We have taken every moment together spenting time with our family.

Family Reunions

We had two family reunions at the same time and couldn't decide which one to join so we did both. Our first part of the week we spent it with my family and went up to Grandpa and Grandma Workman's Cabin. In the mean time John's family was driving down on the fourth from Nevada. As soon as they got in town we went to Holbrook for the firework show up there to spend time with them. We went back down to the valley to spend some more time with John's family. All of John's siblings and parents came to us.

Beginning of Summer

Time for the start of summer. It is swimming time. Ridge's first class of swim lessons with Mrs. Cheryl he had a blast and did not have any trouble this year about getting in the pool. He loves the water and wants to go swimming every chance he gets.

Phoenix Zoo

Ridge went on a preschool field trip to the Phoenix Zoo. He loved it to be with his friends and family. Daddy even got to go this time. The shirt he is wearing is the shirt that he made for this trip with his class.

January Events

We have been busy for the last six month and a lot has happened to our family. In January I ran a 1/2 marathon at London's Run while Ridge and Dad watched me run across the finish line. Ridge Wanted to put on Daddy's uniform so we let him.

New Years Eve Night

Every year Dad and Mom take the children for a overnighter on new years eve while the parents do ever they want for the night. They play games and get gifts from Grandpa and Grandma. This year they didn't get gifts but every game they played they got money. One game they had sticky toy hands and had to get the money with their hands. For most kids it was hard to do but not for Gage. He ended up with $30 from the night. Another game they had to toss a ping pong ball into the red cups with money numbers on the cups. What ever the cup said that's how much money they get. Ridge ended up with $1.25 for the whole night. We need to teach him how to play those games so he can get $30 too.

Christmas Day!

The Browns did the Nativity as a tradition while Uncle Gary read out of the bible.

Ridge got a monkey from Santa and is still carrying it every where he goes. He put the monkey in the seat belt by himself.

John went to go play football with the other guys in our ward on Christmas Eve morning. We all had so much fun. Ridge loved watching his dad and wanted to play with him. Instead he played with the other children while I kept taking pictures on the game. John had so much fun finally getting to be apart of the ward in a very long time. Maybe he will finally get a calling.

I was taking the Workman's family picture for their card and caught two tender moments. I love those kids.
